Char discovered iyengar yoga in college in 1993. She didn't like exercising and took yoga as a way to earn a credit for physical education without really "exercising." During the semester while practicing yoga she noticing her body becoming more toned and agile. Char went on to practice other forms of exercise, including running and body building. She became a personal trainer in 1999 and ran her first marathon in 2005. Her personal philosophy on exercise is, "every BODY is different, so the best form of exercise is one that YOU find fun and will personally stick with." She earned her YTT through yoga six in 2013.  She believes yoga is a path to learn more about yourself, bond with your community, and have fun along the way.
